Minimal & Pale | Aé Curated

Minimal & Pale is our visual code: Whenever we click #MinimalAndPale hashtag on Instagram, a little gallery appears – Aé’s little gallery, where all artists and amateur visualists love and follow our magazine. The pictures there are bright, minimalist, and experimental, in a good way. We can see how people try to interpret our photographic style, how they make their visual variations of two simple words: minimal and pale. But together these words somehow conceal a very enigmatic meaning.

Minimal and pale is like a game of associations: it’s the ocean with its foamy waves and yellow sand, the mountain tops covered with snow, a pale blue building with pale blue sky on the background, and a lovely casual still life lit by pale daylight. Simple, sophisticated, and tranquil, it is a fragment of your life, created with the minimum. Fewer objects, less chaos. Less darkness, more light. Geometry, curves, and structure. Rigour. Space. Less simple, more essential. Put the image after the idea, put your art after philosophy.

“The goal of curating Aé’s #MinimalAndPale hashtag is to showcase a diversity of minimalist images. It allows us to discover young talents and drive more attention to their works. Submit your images to our gallery by tagging them with #MinimalAndPale and @Aesthetist, and I will pick and feature the best ones”
